I have a Jira Service Desk where we capture all the issues. I have my vendor who expects the issues to be created in their Jira Service Desk. This duplicates the efforts in maintaining the issues in two different environment but same Jira Service Desk.
Is there a PLUG IN / TOOL that integrates one Jira Service Desk to another Jira Service Desk environment - where it pulls all the newly created issues?
Good morning @Rangarajan Parthasarathy
Exalate is an alternative issue synchronisation solution. I'm also biased as I'm working for the team that builds the add-on
A number of our customers have been implementing JSD to JSD synchronisation, and it gets really interesting when considering how internal comments need to be handled.
We've seen that requirements in this area does differ from implementation to implementation.
Looking forward for your comments
Francis
you could also use an issue sync app for these use cases. There are various apps available which offer to synchronize issues from one Jira to another.
I am biased when I recommend you to use Backbone Issue Sync because I am part of the team behind it, but you can choose yourself which tool matches best your expectations.
We described some scenarios around synchronization in Jira Service Desk scenarios which always differ in how you want to synchronize public/internal comments.
If you have a first level / second level support relationship with your vendor, this scenario might be suitable for you. Otherwise, check out the others.
Cheers,
Matthias.

You could possibly use automation, e.g. Automation for Jira, to send an email to the vendors JSD to create the mirror issue.
