Jira Service Desk On PRemise install

Hello Team,

So I'm not Jira and need to get upto speed on supporting it on-premise.  I have on test server, with SQL 2014 and Jira Server installed, running fine.  So, now I want to install Jira Service desk on this same server.  I launch the service desk exe and not getting option to install it.  How do i get Jira Service Desk install on the same server that has Jira Server?

Do NOT use the exe.  This is a bundled installation of Jira Core and Jira Service Desk.  It will create a new separate Jira with a Service Desk added.

Instead, go into your existing Jira and go to Manage Applications.  Add the Service Desk from there, and you'll get all the benefits from running in a single integrated place.
