Jira Service Desk Doesn't display confluence application

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I am trying to create a knowledge base article on a test version of jira service desk and confluence.
Through application links it functions normally, however when i go into the project settings It does not display any confluence application so i can't link any spaces to it.
Any ideas - please see screenshot :
