Is there an up-to-date version of https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/jira-sizing-guide-461504623.html that specifically details the recommended amount of server resources you should have for the tools used in your instance for Jira 8.0.0? I have looked through https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/performance-and-scale-testing-965568707.html and I can't seem to find a clear answer.
Just need to know that if I'm running Jira Server 8.0.0 and I have 150 custom fields, for example, how many CPUs/GB RAM do I need on my server? Maybe there's an easier way to calculate this/way of thinking about it I haven't considered? Thanks in advance!
Not yet, but when there is, I would not expect it to change. Jira 8 has some significant changes in some of what it does, but nothing that particularly affects server sizing. You'll find some stuff is faster, but that's because of optimisations, mainly in the indexing, which means you could probably lower the requirements of a server a little bit, but the changes are not really significant.
The numbers you've got for (later versions of 7) pretty much hold for version 8 too.
