Jira Request Type Field Mandatory/Required Not Working

Hi All,

I am trying to make few fields Mandatory/Required in Jira Request Type.
But its not working/updating and No Errors are thrown.

But I can make fields required in other Project.

Please help.

Since the service request is completed in the portal you will need to mark it required on the request type.  This can be done by selecting required on the drop for classic projects.

Or checking the box on next-gen projects.
