Jira Operations more tabs and for what is Services

In our project we have the “Operations”, I have had a look at it. So there's a calendar and then there's the “Services” tab, I don't quite understand what it's there for. There is the following page:Synchronize your services with Compass | Jira Service Management Cloud | Atlassian Support but what is it with the Compass?

So can someone please explain to me what the operations are for and I also saw that someone had more tabs. And what are the services for?

Hi @Antonia

Operations are for the service teams that cover multiple things, services included, on call support and more.

Services is a type of support work that a team can offer: there are software and business services. Each service has its owner. These services are linked with the on call scheduling - think of it as a call center that works in shifts.

As for the compass, Application, capability and software services will be shared and synchronized with Compass. More about services and syncing.
