Jira - Bug Tracking for 3rd party members

zacharoula_brinia

Hello,

I would like to track bugs (daily/ sprint) reports in a software - company managed - project for both internal developers and 3rd party members such as external developers, project managers, and business analysts. I don't want the 3rd party members to have access to the other issues, etc. I also want the above to be linked we the same epics that the internal developers work on.

Any ideas, please?

Thank you.

Hi @zacharoula_brinia

thanks for your question.

One way to achieve this would be using security level. Therefore you need to create an issue security scheme, define a level with visibility for internal and put it on all the issues in the project, the 3rd party members should not be able to view.

The whole process is described here. This guide is for server/dc but the concept also works for cloud.

Hope this helps to get started.
