Jira Assets Dasboards

Dominik Porzelt

Hello

I created a dashboard and want to display only objects which have a relation to another object with a specific attribut.

In detail:

  • Schema Client
    • Client A
      • Attribute: User 1 (Relation to Schema User)
    • Client B
      • Attribute: User 2 (Relation to Schema User)

  • Schema User
    • User 1
      • Attribute: Company A
    • User 2
      • Attribute: Company B

Now I created a Dashbaord based on "Schema Client" and only want to display Clients, where the assigned user has "Attribute Company A".

I went trough the documentation and did not find an answer, is it possible and if not is there a workaround?

Thank you!

Hi, @Dominik Porzelt

Jira Dashboards do not provide this ability out of the box, so you need to look for a marketplace app to add this information. If you are open to that, I recommend Mindpro Graphy. I work at Mindpro, and I believe this tool can help you, at least with your main needs.

The app allows everyone to create dashboards very quickly, and it offers over 50 gadgets to choose from (including custom and asset gadgets).

The dashboards have a main filter you can use to bring data from all time, a specific period, or a project. Most gadgets allow counting the issues based on the filter, and other gadgets limit the displayed data as per the user selection (pre-defined). The internal dashboards are interactive, which means you can filter the entire dashboard just by clicking on a chart segment, for example.

There is an "Assets" template you can use to show all issues that have the selected assets:

I hope that helps.

Eduardo
