Right now, for an attribute that link to an object, a user can type a new value (object) there.
There are 2 issues.
1. There is no modal pop up to allow the user to input other attributes in the linked object, just the name. This introduces many records that only have a name but no details.
2. There is no "mouse hover" / other way to show the attributes for such object
Hello @Leo Li
It sounds like you are allowing users to create Assets through editing an Object type attribute in an existing Asset. Is that correct?
Is this something you want to continue to allow the users to do, or are you asking how to disable it?
If you want to disable it you can disable the ability to Quick Create Referenced Objects for the entire schema using the guidance here:
https://support.atlassian.com/assets/docs/enable-quick-creation-of-referenced-objects/
Based on my quick testing and documentation search I don't see anything that will enable showing another dialog to make the user fill in other attributes for the reference object that is being created.
