JSM server version dependency for the Cloud Migration

Suhas Shastry
November 27, 2023

We are on JSM server version 4.20.12 and we are planning to migrate to the JSM Cloud during Feb mid timeline. Is there any dependency with the JSM server version to take care as part of the Cloud migration activity?

Thanks,

Suhas

Hi @Suhas Shastry based on this article: Migration Assistant , I think you're OK.  The Cloud Migration Assistant is preinstalled on JSM 4.14 and later which you have.

Hope that helps.

@Suhas Shastry -

To supplement what @Dan Breyen suggested, here is a reference link on using Jira Cloud Migration Assistance - https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/jira-cloud-migration-assistant/

It is important to know the details of this Atlassian add-on to ensure your migration process goes well.  Here is another link describing what is migrated using the add-on - https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/what-gets-migrated-with-the-jira-cloud-migration-assistant/

Hope this also helps.
