JSM project customer features are permission denied after upgrade

Scott Correll
January 7, 2021

We are unable to access any of the customer features like notifications or portal setting for a JSM project after upgrade. We have restarted, re-indexed, re-installed and still nothing. It sends you to a page that says you need to be a service desk agent to access which I am but still not access. Other service desk agents have tried as well with the same results.

@Scott Correll ,

Can you still see the servicedesk features related to agents? Things such as SLA/Queues?

If not, please check if the JSD/JSM application is still properly installed. I've had the same issue when we upgraded the instance but only Core/JSW and the SD app didn't load.

It's a longshot but better to first cover all the basics :)

Hi @scof ....The permission scheme or access might be impacted. If you have jira admin permission, you can check on it to make sure the agents are still included in the project and the scheme is correct.
