We are looking at JSM Assets for our enterprise asset management needs and currently have most of our IT assets split across Lansweeper and Manage Engine. We're using the apps to pull in assets from both but duplicate assets  don't seem to be collating automatically in JSM. How can we make sure that a computer (or server) that exists in multiple environments will collate in JSM Assets?

Hi @Laura ,

Welcome to the community!

Jira assets is still a little new to me as well but hopefully I can help. Do you have a unique identifier for your assets?

We use Serial Number for as our unique ID and mark it as the identifier in our import mapping, this way it updates existing entries with the same unique ID.

I believe there is a new feature called Asset Data Manager that should have some functionality around this but I haven't enabled it yet in my instances. Might be worth looking into as well if you're doing a fresh setup
