JSM Data Center - scripted field functionality for Assets

This question concerns JSM Data Center (not Cloud).

I am looking for a feature for Asset Object Attributes equivalent to Scripted Fields feature for issues.

Ideally, as with scripted fields, the attribute value would update based on a script each time the Object was viewed/edited.

I am aware that I might use Automation Rule(s) to update an object attribute. But that isn't triggered simply by viewing the object.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Not an option .. no suck field config for asset tables. This manipulation is done via post function in workflow

@Trudy Claspill I don't think that this is possible because there is no event that is raised when you load an Asset.
