JSD: allow one customer to see all issues of organization (one way)

Deleted user September 11, 2018

Hi all

Does anyone know a way to grant one customer accont the permission to see all issues of his organization while the rest of the organization only see their own issues?

Use case: One person of the organization is the teamlead and should be able to see all issues while the teammembers should only see their own issues.

Any ideas?

thanks

here is something to try - Use Automation to add the one person as a Participant for every issue created.

Well. Thanks for the suggestion. Good thinking. But it seems this is not possible with the built-in automation rules right?

The rule "If issue created, and organization is XYZ, then edit issue" does not provide the option to add a participant.

This would be possible with the Automation for Jira App I think.

That appears to be the case unfortunately. I expect, but have not tried this, using Automation for Jira Cloud could achieve the goal. Another thing you might try, although a bit messy, is to set a field via the default automation and then in the workflow add a post function to edit the participant field.  Unsure but worth a shot.
