Our IT department will be implementing MFA to Office365 in the upcoming weeks and it will affect our email account tied to our Jira Service Desk Project. Do you have a known work around? This matter is quite urgent as we maybe forced to discontinue Jira and use a different vendor that will work with MFA if there is no fix. Please get back to me. Thank you.
I found a post without an answer/reply to since May 16, 2019. We are also in the same boat now. Please see below and let us know if there is a resolution.

Our organization just implemented MFA for O365. This has had the unintended side effect of breaking our JSD issue intake as Jira isn't using an MFA token.
Has anyone else encountered this and have a workaround? Plugin or O365 settings?

i understand this is "community", but does anyone at Atlassian monitor these? I suggest a report that shows questions without answers.
