I uploaded a logo for our JSD install. Everything worked nicely but I decided I needed to make some adjustments. From this point on regardless of what I upload, it always comes back to this originally uploaded file. I can revert back to the default which changes the logo back to the JSD logo, but if I try to upload anything it uses the same original logo I uploaded.
How do I get rid of this issue?
That sounds very strange. I have seen something similar happen in regards to custom project avatars in Jira before. Might want to check out the related thread https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Only-first-10-projects-show-custom-project-image/qaq-p/841865
In that thread we found that sometimes the browser session is hanging on to cached data from the session. In turn it might be possible that Jira is correctly updating your project avatar, However your browser might be using an old cache an in turn you're only seeing the old logo, or the default logo. Try the same steps to change the logo once more, save it, and then hold shift while you click refresh in your browser to see if you can force the browser to do a hard refresh which should download all the elements on the page again and not utilize your internal cache.
If that doesn't work, tell us more about your version of Jira and which specific pages are you using to view this project avatar. Just curious if you're looking in the project settings, the View all projects page, or both.
