JQL Filter for Cascading field where parent is any but child is none

I would like to better categorize some issues by improving on the second level in the cascade.  As mentioned in other posts, I see that it is not easy to Require the child to be completed on create.  I would like to create a filter (queue) that highlights the issues that need additional details.  Is there any way to filter "not null" on the parent value but none in the child?

As an example, I have...

"customfieldname[Select List (cascading)]" in cascadeOption("XXX", none)

To clarify I want all values for XXX where the child is empty.
