I have deleted the ITSAMPLE JIRA Service Management project that gets created automatically. However, all of its screens (and perhaps other assets) still remain in the system.
Is there a way to do a complete (clean) removal of the project, so that all related screens or any other assets that relate to that specific project only are also deleted?
HI @Arturas Rimkus welcome to the Atlassian Community!
When you delete a project, it's actually moved to the trash first. Once you permanently delete a project from the trash, you won't be able to recover it.
Screens which are shared will remain associated with other projects, screens which are not shared need to be deleted manually.
Deleting a project only deletes the project key and issue data.
Thanks Dave. So... if I create a project and then delete it (as well as remove from trash), I then need to have a system admin clean the system up by removing all the screens that were auto-created for this project?
