JIRA Service Desk - Workflow Transition - Customer Viewable

Is there a way to only display transitions statuses for certain forms?  

For example, I have 1 form - support workflow.  I would like to display the status Closed or Cancelled to the customer view.  However, I only want to display this option for Access Form requests not for our Password Reset forms.  Both the Access Form and Password Reset form uses the same workflow.

@James M  , Do you have these 2 as different request types? 

If yes, you can change the text how a status gets displayed to the customer in portal view.
