JIRA Automation trigger for start date

My team work on number of recurring tasks every week, month, quarter, and year.

I want an auto trigger email to the assignee based on the start dates. I dint find any of these triggers in the Automation.

Can someone help?

What kind of a condition do you need for e-mails?

You can use automation -> Scheduled trigger and write JQL to identify issues and send e-mal to assignee.

For example; send email to assignee for the issue whose Start Date is less than 2 days.

Simply write JQL: "Start date" < 2d and "Start date" > now()
