Issue is created with Issue type which is not associated withe the project.

1.Project A doesnt have the issue type task.

But issue is created with task, any suggestions for trouble shooting ?

It's not possible to do that, I suspect project A has an issue type scheme that does allow for task.

i have double checked the issue type scheme,

and the ticket is created long back which leaves me no traces how to analyze the route cause.
