Is this possible to create the workflow between JIRA service management and JIRA work management?

Please find require workflow between JSM and JWM. Please suggest.

Hi @Godwin Daniel Selvaraj,

As long as you are aware that JSM and JWM are different products, you can definitely create a flow of work that flows across the entire process.

That would mean that - at the moment of handover to Work Management - you would create a new, linked issue in a business project after you transition your JSW ticket to the Created ECN status. That new JWM ticket would then follow its own workflow that updates the status of the original, linked JSM ticket at the appropriate time.

Keys to the solution would be:

  • Automation rules to create the linked issue;
  • Ensuring that the tickets from your JSM and JWM are indeed properly linked
  • Automation again to update the status of your linked issues

So, in short: you would have 2 projects with issues that each represent part of your overall process. Automation should help you take care of the transition of the linked issues in the other project when the triggering action takes place.
