Is there an app that automatically responds to customers?

I'm looking for a app/add-on that is going to copy/paste at the click of a button with the name of the current user and some template text I define somewhere.

There is Canned Responses Pro. I don’t use it so cannot comment on how effective it is. Certainly this needs to be an in-built feature IMO. Here is one open JAC for this - JSDCLOUD-631
