Is there a way to display all issues by the reporter on the ticket screen or embed a JQL filter?

I'd like a way to be able to see at a glance all of the open issues from a reporter when I'm looking at a ticket. 

So if I'm looking at a ticket, on the right hand side, I would see a list of all the requests they'd opened previously and that were currently still open. Really simple JQL query, but I'm unaware of a way to embed a filter into the task screen. 

I'm open to any extensions that solve this problem too!

You would need to get an addon for this.  I dont have any scenario's where this is needed but in the past I ran across addons like the one below that might be able to accomplish this for you
