I'm working in the new project in Jira Service Desk (Cloud) and I'm in doubt which project it's better I start it (classic or next gen)? Does the next gen one have all the features of classic? How long has it been available for testing?

Hello Mariana,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

JSD Next-gen projects are more simple than Classic ones, so there are features that are currently not available.

Below is a feature request that contains sub-tasks with all features asked for next-gen projects:

Please, check the features that are still on Open status and if there is some that you need, then I'd suggest you to vote and watch to receive updates and then, use the Classic project until the feature is available on next-gen.

Also, there are no limits of projects, so you can create a next-gen and a classic to test as long as you need it.

If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please let us know.

Regards,
Angélica
