Is it possible to nail an e-mail request reader down to an project

Thomas Strohmaier

I have set up several projects with own different mail accounts to separate the requests between the projects.

Now I replied to an issue in project A intentionally to the mail account of project B. This reply was added against the intention to the issue in project A and published to the customer, what not should happen.

So how can I make sure that the recipients from mails only generate mails in their associated projects?

Hi Thomas,

It is necessary to extend email ingestion capabilities through use of JEMH or similar plugins on the Marketplace because Jira (Core/Software/Service Desk) does not have email parsing capabilities. Alternatively, use separate email accounts for separate project. Cheers!

I do use separate email-accounts for the different projects. Was difficult enough to get them form IT. But from your question I conclude that this is a misbehavior and I should open a bug.
