Is it possible to determine when an SLA is no longer valid, if it has expired with the customer?

Mathiasbaek November 9, 2018

e.g. if a customer's valid SLA expires in 2019, we want JIRA SD to inform us.

can this be possible?

Thanks in advance

Not sure I understand. What defines

when an SLA expires?

Hi Jack, thanks for your response.

If we have a Service Level Agreement with CustomerX that expires in Jan. 2019. Then we would  no longer have to support that customer by Jan. 2019. Or for instance we could have a Service Level Agreement with Customer Y that expires Jan. 2020.

So my question goes: is it somehow possible to include SLA expiration date according to customer / organization in JIRA SD? the expiration date should be equal to the date where the SLA is not valid anymore.

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks

Got it!

i can’t think of a way to do this thru configuration such that the JSD SLAs rules would cease. I would offer two ideas:

  • add a reminder in your calendar program to update your SLAs
  • add a Jira issue with a due date and use automation to remind you
