We are looking to add a section of our end user portal inside JSM with the following fields. Where in JSM would we make these changes and would it be possible to make a drop down menu to select the choice.? 2026-01-07_16-25-07.png

Hello @Raymond Correa

The short answer is Yes.

You can include select list type fields from your underlying work item type in the Request Type presented to the customer in the portal when they are submitting a new request.

You can also add a select list type field to the Form presented to the customer, if you are using Forms to help your customers submit their requests.

But I'm not clear on how you are trying to structure the data.

Do each of the values in Group represent a field, so the field names would be:

Customer-Driven
Revenue Growth
Compliance
etc.

And the selections available for each field would be from the Picklist Value column, so that

the field Customer-Driven has two selectable values
the field Revenue Growth has two selectable values
the field Operational has three selectable values

Or are you talking about have a Cascading Selection List field, where the user selects one of the values from Group, and then selects a second value from the corresponding values in Picklist Value?

Have you already added the field(s) to the work item type that gets created for the customer request?

In the Portal are you having the customer fill out a Request Type directly or are you leveraging the Forms option of JSM to present them with a form to complete?

Does this concern a Company Managed Service space or a Team Managed Service space?
