Is it possible to add columns to the new alert list view?

In the new alert list view set out in the table, is there a way to add new columns into the view?

Yes, you need to scroll all the way until you see this icon  . At first it may seem like you cannot add any fields, wait for a bit, and you will able to add other fields.

That icon is not appearing on the table for myself or anyone in my team. Is it permissions based? Thank you.
