I think I might know the answer already (which is no), but I'll try anyways. I need to find a solution on showing tickets on the organisation overview page of tickets that have that particular organisation selected in the issue view "organisations" field. Is this even possible?
The predefined JQL when I press "View all" only includes the "reporter is in organisation"..

but I would like this

The reason is that we have some internal service tickets, which are related to the organisation, but the reporter is somebody from our company, not the customer.. I hope this makes sense.

Hello @Alain Kovacs

I don't have an answer for you yet, but can you tell me how you are getting to that Organization Overview page? I don't seem to be able to find it in my instance, but I am working with a Free subscription.

Also, have you considered setting up a Jira Dashboard to show the issues based on the setting of the Organization field?

HI @Trudy Claspill

in the new Jira view, you go via the Customers tab(see picture 1), then you have two other tabs on top, Customer/Organisations. You select your organisation and you get to that view  other tabs

that being said, I'm quite surprised with your profile that you were unaware of this as for us it's a core "customer management" tool, everything revolves around that.

Dashboards are incredibly lacking when it comes to supporting the "Organisations" field unfortunately. And setting up a few tens (and always growing) of individually sorted dashboards/filters is not very user friendly nor is it easy to maintain.

Thank you for sharing that information.

I'm not sure what you mean by "with your profile". I am just another user of the Atlassian products, albeit a user that has extensive experience with some of the products. My experience applies more to Jira than to JSM.

With more digging I found that this is an optional feature (one of over a dozen possible features) for JSM spaces, and is described here:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/manage-organization-detail-fields/

I did not have the feature enabled in any JSM spaces in my personal Free subscription, so I did not see the same page as you when I navigated to the same location.

Now that I have enabled it and reviewed the documentation, I don't see any method available for modifying the filter used to present lists of issues on that page, nor any information about adding custom filter results to that page. I have not found any suggestion for that feature in the public Altassian backlog.

As a work around you could create custom Filters for each Organization, and construct a Dashboard with Filter Results gadgets to display the issues returned for each filter.

I also recommend that you use the Give Feedback link at the bottom of the Organization page to provide your suggestion directly back to Atlassian.
