Importing AWS assets into Jira is loading forever

Dears,

I'm building an integration between AWS and Jira assets using AWS Assets market place app.

After completing the configuration and making sure that AWS is reachable, I've been asked to select among two options as follows:

Assets.png

I choose create predefined structure and it loops forever, I'm not sure what should happen next. As the structure of assets is created successfully however the mapping is not created and I need to map assets manually.

My question is that what should I do for this step to finish? Is it normal that no mapping is created?

I had a similar issue. If you let the predefined structure create, it will never finish. You can check in your Object Schema, if the structure was built, and in my case it did finish. If you close the configuration window, and then go back through the configuration process, and create the structure again, it will quickly pass through to the Create Predefined Configuration. In my case, I had to do the same process on that section, as well.

The AWS Import has a lot of bugs, compared to the Azure Import. It also takes much longer to sync, so keep that in mind when you schedule your sync times. It can also impact other Jira processes, like incoming email, and such.

I should also note that we are on Data Center.
