Implemented Jira SSO, service desk redirecting is failing with null for uri

We have implemented JIRA SSO (https://docs.atlassian.com/atlassian-seraph/2.6.1-m1/sso.html), we found out an issue with Service Desk,

Based on some recommendations, we did change the login.jsp to custom-login.jsp,  it is redirecting and not showing the login page for service desk, but display XML with 404, null for uri.

Any help would be really appreciated.

but at the moment is using the DC solution with SAML is good.
