Hi
We are currently implementing the add-on ProForma for our support organization. We are looking to get better structured and complete requests that way, since we are only using incoming e-mails at the moment, to create tickets.
My Question: Is there any way we can upload images using the form addOn? Say for example a user wants to share a screenshot of his error message. We can't find a way to do this using ProForma only, to create our requests.
This is what ProForma says to this topic at the moment:
At this time, ProForma does not allow you to upload an image file. You must reference an image that is accessible on the internet.
A referenco to an image accessible on the internet is no option for us.
Any ideas how to deal with this use case?
Thanks a lot!
Hey @Renato Tovar ,
Currently Proforma does not yet have a field of type attachment available (that's where you would upload an image to).
If on the portal, you can add the regular attachment field to your request type but that would appear above the proforma form.
They are working on it tho, you can read the following post from them regarding the topic.
Hey @Dirk Ronsmans
Thank you for your response. I guess that way we can make it work!
Another question regarding your solution. Do you know if i can shift the position of the proforma form, so it is shown above the attachment field?

Sadly no, the form is shown below the regular fields so at this time it will show the attachment field above the form.
That's why we're all excited about a native attachment field :)

While waiting for ProForma attachment field, you have the option to use File Field on your Jira Server.
Also, here is more information about attachment fields on Jira Server / DC / Cloud:

Have a great day.
