ISSUE with SLA JQL

paras chopra July 22, 2020

Hi , I am facing some issue while setting up SLA Goals. I tried to input a valid JQL query in the goals section and system shows no JQL error, still the Goal is not letting me add it while I click on "Add " button. The hour sign just keep rotating.

Any help will be appreciated.JQL Goal setup Issue-Service Desk.png

that doesn't sound like an error associated with the JQL. Have you tried another JQL and found it successful? How about simply "Customer request type" = "Document and video updates (????)"...leave off the last bit since I would think it would be redundant anyway unless you have that same CRT associated to a different issuetype.

Hi Jack, Thanks for the note. I did try the suggestions ( Just use"Customer request type...." still the same issue.

ok so try something completely different. if it is still an issue I believe you have something going on w/ your instance, i.e. not associated w/ the SLA goal. Do you have a lot of goals for this SLA by chance?

@Jack Brickey -  I believe the problem is only when I select "Customer request Type =...", because if I just add "Issuetype=...." in JQL it adds to goals.

well that is certainly interesting. I'm not sure why that would cause an issue and would suggest submitting a support request. It doesn't cause an issue for me but i'm on cloud so that is of little value. I also too a quick look in JAC for any bug report but did not find anything.

Should you find the answer please post here.
