I'm creating a new service desk with multiple customer request options in the customer portal. I need to change the values on the same custom field drop down menu based on the customer request option

Example

Customer request type 1

A

B

C

Customer request type 2

A

B

D

F

Customer request type 3

D

F

How do make these changes on the jira service desk portal in a server environment

Hi Mary,

You can create your Request Types and map them to different Issue Types.

Then create your custom field and add a different context for each Issue Type. Then in each context, you can have different values for the same custom field.

Unless you have any other forms plugins, you cannot achieve that in any elegant way.

You could do three custom fields with the restricted options and map the choice to the one custom field that contains all options with Automation once the issue is created.
