What worked well for me and my team was to add it to the Project Shortcuts on the left menu. We're on Server version 7.5.4.
Just click the Add Link and add the URL for the Confluence Space.

On Cloud it would still be on the left menu, but will say Add Item. Click on that and it will open a dialog box for you to add your Confluence Space URL
