For example the user Jeffrey Quade has admin privileges but is unable to update the status of a ticket, or create a comment, he is only able to create internal notes. How can we solve this issue?Screen Shot 2022-07-20 at 11.50.11 AM.pngScreen Shot 2022-07-20 at 12.52.54 PM.png

Hello @jquade ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It looks like your user still needs a number of project-based permissions like Edit Issues, Transition Issues, and Add Comments.

Also, you need to make sure your user is in the group associated with JSM licenses if you want to transition issues.  An agent license is required.

@jquade -

Welcome to the community.  To supplement what @Robert Wen_Cprime_ excellent response, you can access the JSM project (in question) permission scheme to determine what a user can do via Project settings > permission UI.

As a part of segregation of duties among project roles within a project, a project admin doesn't necessary have the right to manage issues within a project automatically.  In JSM, agent license is required for all issue editing related event.

I have similar issue where some of my developers can not tag another developer when making a comment on a ticket. I have created a role and gave them all permissions available for their role and yet they still cant tag anyone in a comment.

Hello @Taiwo.Sekoni !  Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

That may be a different permission in play.  You should see if the developer has the Global Browse Users and Groups permission in order to be able to "at-mention" another developer.

Ok thanks. Let me try it.

@Robert Wen_Cprime_ I have another issue here. I'm trying to integrate Zephyr squad for my team and when i signed up for the account the picture below is what i got since July 13th 2022.
