Hi @Gayatri_Chabbi 👋
Welcome to the Community !
If you're trying to download current sprint data (like completed/incomplete issues, story points, etc.) but can’t locate the Sprint Report, here’s what you can try:
Go to your Scrum board in Jira
Click Reports (left-hand menu)
Select Sprint Report
From there, choose your current sprint from the dropdown
⚠️ If you're using a Team-managed project, the Sprint Report might not be available — it’s only available in Company-managed projects.
Jira doesn’t provide an export button directly on the Sprint Report, but you have a few options:
Use "Export issues" from the backlog or issue navigator:
Create a filter like:
sprint in openSprints() AND project = [YourProjectName]
Go to Search issues > Export > Excel (CSV or XLS)
Or use a marketplace app Time In Status to:
Filter issues by sprint
Export sprint metrics (status time, transitions, assignee data) directly to Excel
Also app give you access to Sprint Performance Report with supports Team-managed project. This report contains various metrics for each sprint, including Team Velocity. You can access it through the Time In Status app.
App developed by my team.
Have a nice day and happy sprinting 🥳
Hi @Preetham Bhat,
You could try using the Jira's Sprint Burndown Chart report instead.
If this is not enough, a potential solution would be to search for an app on Atlassian Marketplace that offers better reports.
In case you want to try an app, our Great Gadgets app, offers some gadget that offers sprint data, which can be easily exported in CSV.
Sprint Burndown Burnup Chart gadget - offers a a chart and a sprint report similar to the one from Jira's Sprint Report, which can be easily exported.
The report is available on the Data tab of the gadget.
Team Velocity gadget - offers detailed numbers about past sprints (story points commited, completed, added, removed, % completed, etc).
Beside the chart itself, it can display a Data tab where you will find a detailed report for each sprint showing the all kind of stats/numbers for your sprints, which can be easily exported in CSV.
I expect our app to provide all the insights you need directly in Jira, in real time. So exporting to Excel may no longer be necessary.

Hello @Gayatri_Chabbi ,
Welcome to the Community !
Seems you are in Team Managed Sprint project (next gen) - this doesn't show Sprint report.
With said, you can create a Scrum board in your personal board and view the sprint reports there.
