In this project, you create a ticket with the receiving information, and inside that ticket you create sub-tasks for each part that is inspected. The problem is that I have had to create sub-task types and use work-arounds to display correct information. The workload to add a part to this process has become extremely cumbersome. I am looking for a method where a shipment comes in, a receiving form is filled out, and parts inspected through Jira can be viewed from within the overall shipment ticket. I have considered using Epics as the shipment ticket, and tickets as part inspection. Currently, the process uses tickets as shipments, and sub-tasks within that ticket as inspection of a part.
