I am setting Channel through Jira service management cloud rest api but its not working

we are setting the channel through this Api https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/service-desk/rest/api-group-request/#api-rest-servicedeskapi-request-get 
but it's not working it always set the channel to API
