Hello!
When installing my Jira Service Desk I could not add a project template "Service Desk". Only the templates from the category "Business" are visible. How to fix that?
Cheers
Hello @Marc Sauer ,
I would recomend first verifying that Service Desk was enabled properly when you installed it, under Settings > Add-Ons > Manage Add-Ons. Search for Service Desk and see it it is enabled also Click the drop-down arrow next to Service Desk and you'll see "X of X Modules enabled." If there are some modules that are not enabled you can try to enable them by clicking the link however if the modules failed to start up something may not have installed properly, So If this is the case I also recomend checking the logs to see if there are any explicit errors shown.
If everything Is enabled you may just need to grant yourself access to Service Desk as covered in this KB:
If you set product access and it works you're all set but if not and wether all the modules look to be enabled or not, I would recomend as a next step to do a restart to Jira and tailing the log output on the restarts take a look for the section noting the plugins starting up, if there is an issue starting the modules there should be a section noting failed plugins. This will be in the atlassian-jira.log in the JIRA_HOME folder and you should also see an atlassian-servicedesk.log , check both for any startup errors.
Let me know what you find.
Regards,
Earl
I could activate Jira Service Desk via the Addons menu. Thank you so much for your great help!
