How to show an average on Jira dashboard?

Hello everybody,

I'm using Jira Service Management Server.

I have a custom field that is a numeric field. I would like to show in a gadget the average of this custom field calculated over all the issues.

How can I made this calculation? How can I show the result in Jira dashboard?

Out of the box there may not be a gadget for that. I would recommend going to the marketplace to look for one.
