Hello,
We are using Jira Service Management and have a project set up as a Service Desk.
In the left-hand menu, there is a Customers tab that displays a list of customers. Some of these customer entries were added incorrectly or are now inactive, and we would like to remove them completely — including their names and email addresses.
However, we are unable to find an option to fully delete a customer from the list. Could you please advise how we can permanently remove these customer records from the Service Desk project?
Thank you in advance.
Hi Bas,
Follow this guidance to completely delete a Customer.

Hello John,
Thanks for sharing this article, but I already tried the mentioned steps yesterday morning, without success.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
So you deleted them there, but they still show up somewhere else? If so, then go to User Management > Groups and find the group for jira service management customers and remove from there.

thank you for the feedback.
The answers I'm receiving is reflected towards users of Jira, but we have removed customers from the project - service desk.
The customer is also removed from the service desk, but still visible on the service desk page, when selected the tab CUSTOMERS. If checking further and the advice you give me, the customer isn't showing in the Jira Service Management.

I have added a photo of the page with a selection of the issue. This is a portal added customer done by a person, but it is incorrect.
In this example I want to remove this portal customer, but I don't have any option like a delete button.
My role in the project Servicedesk is user access admin, what I can find.

If you follow the guidance in the link I posted above, you will be able to delete it. If you followed that already, where did it go wrong? Which step?

Welcome @Bas Coppens
Do you have the access for the User management section? From there you can search the users who have the access to JSM and remove their Service Management Customer product access. That way, they will be automatically removed from the project as customers.

Thank you for the reply, Nikola.
The removal is for the portal-users that are still visible in the service desk area. I already removed the users, but still those incorrect or inactive users are visible in the project servicedesk.
