Hello!
Is there a way to remove all the tickets on my project and restart the ticket count so that the next ticket I'll create will be IssueKey-1.
Thank you!
Hello @cheikh charles ndiaye That's practically not possible is jira for an existing project. Unless you have the right permission to manually set the id to 1 from the query(not sure if that's feasible as well), though you delete all the tickets, the counter keeps updating.
Like @Sharumathy Krishnan mentioned the best alternative would be to create a new project and then copy the tickets to start them from ticket number 1 for new project.
I think, unfortunately right now there is no such option.
Please vote and watch the following issue with the corresponding suggestion:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-73468
The alternative option would be to create a new project and work on it.
Thanks,
Sharu

Depending if you are on server or cloud.
On Cloud then solution given by @Sharumathy Krishnan is your only option. The first steps to be added are:
- Delete all issues from the project
- Delete the project
- Delete the project from trash
But as I see you probably are on server, you could delete the issues from you project and make adjustments in the database, be aware this is dangerous, make a backup first.
See this article from the Atlassian KB: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-reset-the-project-counter-after-moving-issues-776643590.html
The article refers to issues moved, but the same applies when you delete issues
