How to modify Project Lead in Jira Service Desk?

I am trying to modify Project Lead from Project Settings-> Details but it is taking old Project Lead name only. Why it is taking every time last time Project Lead. Looking for a suitable solution

Could you tell us what "it is taking old Project Lead" means? Are you able to select someone else? What happens when you save the change?

It is like this... for example, present project lead is "ABC" and which is changed to "XYZ". After saving the change, project lead returns to "ABC" instead of showing new project lead "XYZ".
