How to grant users admin access only for service desk projects?

Hitendra Verma
August 9, 2018

I am trying to create a group in JIRA which will allow a few users to admin the Service Desk part of our Atlassian Cloud portfolio. Is it possible to allow users admin access just to the service desk and not other products (JIRA, Confluence)? If yes, how do we do that?

Hi Hitendra,

The way Jira permissions work, you're either a Jira admin or you aren't. It's not possible to apply to only a specific part of Jira.

That said, you could very easily make a group admins of each JSD project individually.

See managing project permissions for more details.

Regards,

Shannon
