I need to add a request type compliant with ITIL requirements and
specify components dependent from the request type.
Can someone help me ?
@Gianluigi Brasili JSM was created to meet ITIL standards. You can easily setup request types that fall into the ITIL standard. Some of the JSM templates also meet the ITIL standard so all you need to do is create the JSM project using that template. https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/templates/it-service-management
Components are project-specific and apply to all issues in the project. They can be used to better track request, report on them and measure how you are doing. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/what-are-jira-components/
