How to create a Linked Issue in JIRA SW from JIRA SD

I have JIRA SD and JIRA Sofware instances,  When someone reports that issue gets created in JIRA SD and I can create a JIRA SW linked issue with the same content of the JIRA SD ticket by clicking on Workflow --> Link to JIRA SW, which creates the JIRA SW issue with all the content in the JIRA SD ticket.  How do I do this using JIRA REST API?
