Hi,
JSM cloud question:
although its easy to change the standard language (in this case to German) for the portals, I am not able to do so for the entire help center. Yes I can add translations, but I need to change the standard language itself as no other language is needed.
Can't find this setting in the limited options of the help center management nor in the customisation options, forcing me to add translations for the help centers name, title and welcome message instead of using German as default.
Anyone has a solution or can point me in the right direction?
Best regards
You can’t directly change the default Help Center language in JSM Cloud—only the portal language. To make German the main language, set it as the default site language in Atlassian admin (under Product settings → Jira Service Management → Language support) and remove other languages. That forces the Help Center to display in German by default.
Thanks. This was it, although the navigation was a bit different: Settings → System → General Configuration → Internationalization → Default language
This also changed the standard language of the Help Center.

Hello @Harald Heinz
Go to space settings -> language support -> add a new language. After you have done that, make sure the new language is set to be the default one.

Done so, but only works for the portal connected with that space/project. Not for the entire help center above it.
