How to automatically close off tickets after seven days

Joslyn Bryan
April 28, 2021

We want to know how to send out an automatic message when tickets havent been responded to. So when a client hasn't responded how do we send out a reminder and let them know if they dont respond in a few days the ticket will be closed and if they have any further questions they can request a new ticket.

You should consider using automation for this. In fact if memory serves there may be one in the library already for it that you can use as a starting point. Basically you want to have an SLA set up for non-responsive customers. And when that SLA breaches then you can trigger an automation to remind them

Ok thank you for that I am new to Jira and I will find the library you are suggesting and try there.
